In light of the imposed community quarantine amid concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) starting March 15, 2020, ABS-CBN Network has announced that it is halting all tapings of all its soap operas (teleseryes).
As a result, ABS-CBN will temporarily re-televise classic teleseryes in place of its current lineup of primetime shows starting Monday, March 16.
“Pamilya Ko” starring JM de Guzman, Arci Muรฑoz, Joey Marquez, Rosanna Roces, and Sylvia Sanchez will be replaced by โ100 Days to Heavenโ starring Coney Reyes, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Xyriel Manabat.
Coco Martin’s long-running โFPJโs Ang Probinsyanoโ will be replaced by โMay Bukas Paโ starring Zaijian Jaranilla.
Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s โMake It With Youโ will be replaced by the hit romantic series โOn The Wings of Loveโ featuring Nadine Lustre and James Reid.
Lastly, โA Soldierโs Heartโ starring Gerald Anderson will be replaced by iWant original mystery thriller โI Am U,โ starring Julia Barretto until March 20. It is unknown what will air in place of it afterward.
“We assure our viewers that the changes are only temporary. We will resume our regular programming when conditions improve and the safety and welfare of our people will not be compromised,” said ABS-CBN in their statement.
