In his recent vlog post, Ogie Diaz apologizes to celebrities who ‘felt offended’ by his showbiz updates.
Before opening the latest episode from the “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” YouTube channel, the content creator/talent manager addressed his channel’s bashers. “Bahagi ‘yan ng pinasukang vlog at alam mo, masasaktan lang naman ako kung mga kaibigan na nakakakilala sa’kin ‘yong bashers ko,” he said. “Pero ‘yung mga hindi naman ako lubos na kilala, e normal ‘yun. OK lang ‘yun, naiintindihan ko sila.”

In line with this, his co-host Mama Loi inquired if there are any friends of his from the show business industry who are mad at him right now because of what he reported on the channel. To which Diaz responded, “Wala. Wala pa, so far.”

Then, he went on to provide a more detailed explanation of the ups and downs of being a showbiz insider.
“Aaminin namin ah, siyempre we really have to please everybody. Ako, kahit matagal na po ako sa industriya, e siyempre may nakakatampuhan pa rin akong artista, may mga nakakaaway pa rin akong artista, merong artista na sumasama ang loob sa amin; [but] at the same time, meron din namang mga artistang nagpapasalamat sa amin, naaappreciate ang ginagawa namin, ‘yung mga binabalita namin, ‘yung pagtulong namin at pagsuporta sa kanilang career, o kaya sa kanilang mga pelikula na ipalalabas na. ‘Di ba? Nagpapasalamat naman sila. So balanse lang din ang buhay.”
Nevertheless, he felt the need to apologize to those who might have been affected by their reports. He continued, “Pero siyempre, kung meron man kaming mga nasaktan dito, alam mo, tao lang din sila. Tao lang din tayo. Kung sa palagay ninyo, kami ay naka-offend, e humihingi po kami ng sorry.”
“We cannot please everybody, so kung na-offend man ‘yung iba sa aming mga binabalita namin dito–sa pangkalahatan po ha, in general–kami po ay humihingi ng sorry. Sa mga artista po, na feeling nila na-offend namin sila, sorry po.”
