With the new group name, NJZ will be holding their first event at the “Complex Live” concert at the ComplexCon Hong Kong festival, which is scheduled to take place on March 21 to 23.
According to an article published by CNN, NJZ will also be debuting a new song at the much-anticipated event.
One of the most successful K-pop acts in the 2020s, NewJeans garnered international and mainstream success following the release of their hits “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” “OMG,” “Ditto,” and “Super Shy,” among others.
In November 2024, the girl group announced they were terminating their contract with record label Ador. Since the legal dispute, they began sharing personal content from a new Instagram account.
Prior to the rebrand, the girls appealed to their fans and followers to suggest a new group name.
