Nest: Affordable Sky High Dining at Its Finest
Located at the roof deck of W Fifth Avenue Building in Fort Bonifacio, Nest is an affordable dining bar and restaurant that offers a wide array of food and drinks that is perfect for dinner dates and nights out with your friends.
Nestled right beside the bar Raven,ย Nestย is a place where you can kick back, relax, have a few drinks with aย DJย spinning music in the background. Itโs also a place where people can dine and pre-drink before partying at Raven.
Nestย looks like aย gardenย accentuated with earth-tone furnitures and accessories and because it is smacked right in the heart of Fort Bonifacio, it provides a breathtaking cityscape at the same time.
Nestโs cuisine is a mixture of Asian flavours and Western-style cooking. Some entries in the menu are familiar dishes cooked and presented in a different way, giving twists to what everyone is already used to.
For starters, we were served the Beetroot Carpaccio, Ham and Eggs and Foie Gras and Mushrooms.
Beetroot Carpaccio (Php 300)
ย
For someone who doesnโt eat that much salad, I thought this beetroot carpaccio tasted really good. When you mix the feta cheese, citrus segments, candied walnuts and garlic confit together, you will end up with an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth that blend perfectly well together.
Ham and Eggs (Php 250)
ย
Served in a very fine dining way, Nestโs Ham and Eggs are farfetched from the breakfast plates we are used to. The ham is jamon serrado and the egg is cooked poached and plated with a pea and mint salad with parmesan and truffle oil.
Foie Gras and Mushrooms (Php 550)
I have tasted a few foie gras dishes when reviewing restaurants, but this one is one of the more attractive ones. As soon as the table attendant placed this on our table, I immediately took photos because it was very Instagram-worthy. It is very delicious and hearty. It has a poached egg, croutons, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar in it.
For the main course, we prepared our appetites for the 5 Spiced Roast Pork Belly, Chili BBQ Chicken, and Rack of Lamb.

5 Spiced Roast Pork Belly (Php 250)
ย
I love pork belly. I mean: who doesnโt? And this one will make you love it more. Served with soy and garlic noodles, this kurobuta pork belly is very tender and oozing with flavour. It is actually good for sharing, but you might want to keep it for yourself as you will be wanting more. It comes with a good price tag, too!
Chili BBQ Chicken (Php 325)
ย
If you love spicy food, you definitely need to try Nest’s Chili BBQ Chicken. It has spicy rub that you can taste to the bones. It is served with baby potatoes, bacon and lemon slaw. One order is half a chicken and is perfect for sharing.
Rack of Lamb (Php 950)
ย
We were served a rack of Lamb cooked medium – just the way I like it. It is cooked so perfectly that you can taste all of the sweet and juicy flavours inside. It is served with herb and mustard glaze, smoked eggplant, glazed zucchini and lamb jus.
