Nanyang Menu & Singaporean Dishes to Try
You can’t go to a Singaporean-themed restaurant without trying their savory Prawn Laksa. This hearty bowl of noodles and soup is perfect for warming up your tummy. We love the rich broth that delivers a delicious spicy kick with each spoonful. We’re sure that any noodle lover wouldn’t be able to get enough of this!

For rice and chicken lovers, Nanyang serves two options of Hainanese Chicken Riceโa regular option with the poached chicken, and an option with tasty boneless fried chicken. Both kinds of Hainanese Chicken Rice are served with soup, bok choy, and three different sauces to enjoy with the chicken. I personallyย loved the Hainanese Fried Chicken Riceโthat boneless fried chicken is packed with flavor!
If you’re not in the mood for Hainanese Chicken Rice, you can try their Homemade Nasi Lemak which features a flavorful nasi lemak sambal.
Nanyan’s Curry Chickenโserved with either rice or toastโis another super flavorful dish that’s great for people who love getting punched by flavor from the very first bite. I loved the richness of this curry, especially with the perfect blend of flavors brought by coconut milk and loads of spices. You wouldn’t be able to get enough of this dish for sure.
Of course, any Singaporean food trip wouldn’t be complete without the traditional toast. Nanyang even offers a wide variety of toasts to choose from. There’s the Hainanese Kaya with Honey Toast, Nonya Kaya Toast, Butter, Butter Sugar, and Peanut Butter flavored traditional toast.
You can also get Thick Toast cut into bite-sized cubes so that they’re easier to share or to devour by yourself.
I personally loved the Toast Set Meal which is served with two soft-boiled eggs and your choice of coffee or teaโit’s essentially the classic Singaporean breakfast!
Classic Singaporean Drinks in Metro Manila
Nanyang also offers a variety of Singaporean drinks to pair with its savory food menu.
Coffee lovers will surely love their Singaporean kopi selections. And if you need a caffeine kick from another kind of drink, you can choose from their teh tarik options which are made using traditional methods. You can even watch the staff “pulling tea” using these methods, so you know you can enjoy the authentic flavors of Singaporean tea.
If you’re looking for non-caffeinated drink options, they also have Milo Dinosaur, Sparkling Soda, and Horlicks, to name just a few.
Even if you’re not that hungry for food, their wide selection of beverages makes Nanyang SM North EDSA worth visiting for a quick coffee (or tea) date!
