If you ever find yourself wandering out and about looking for a new place to drink and dine in the busy business district of Ortigas, you just might chance upon a Public Urban Bar woven at The Sapphire Bloc. Its warm, cozy interiors will glimmer and steal your eye as this P.U.B. has the inviting welcome of an old home.
Upon entry, you will be greeted by the bar that is embraced by an assemblage of bottles and shot glasses that sit side by side. The P.U.B. is lit with the perfect orange light that is neither too dim nor bright enclosed in brick walls. It is complete with high tables and chairs, and a communal dining area for big gatherings. Outside, you will be met by the alfresco with barrel tables that justify your craving for the pubgrub and aching for your instagram like bump. Upstairs is equally as lush, with a variation of tables and chairs, and a wall with pictures that hint the history and influence behind the place.
The food served in Moonshine P.U.B. tastes the way it looks: amazing. The colors alone are appetizing as they colonize your plate and invade your senses. According to Chef Jehrad Dolino, Moonshine P.U.B.โs executive chef, the food served is playful and engaging, which makes the food pleasing to the eyes, tongue, nose, and, sometimes, even for the ears.
