Since the start of the milk tea craze here in Manila, I’ve always been fond of trying out milk tea places, be it the mall type ones or the hole-in-the-wall ones. However, only a few really stand out with their unique flavors or their exceptionally well done usual flavors. The tea competition is tough, I’m telling you!
Well, Coco Tea is the largest milk tea company in the world, and it finally launched its flagship store here in the Philippines this month.

What sets Coco Tea Philippines apart from other commercial tea houses is their commitment to using only the freshest fruits and tea leaves in all of their drinks. They also highlight the fruit juices in their menu, which is good because having something refreshing is a must in today’s hot weather.
I was so happy that we were able to try out all of the fruit juices at a fruit juice bar before the event proper started!

I tasted Lemon Calamansi with Aloe First and it was so good! I could definitely order this every time I go to Coco Tea. But of course, I had to try the other flavours, too.

Chris Everingham, a member of the Philippine Volcanoes and also a registered dietitian, was also at the event and talked about having healthy habits for a better lifestyle. He emphasized on taking in the right food and drinks to being more fit and healthy.

After the talk, we were teamed up by table to mix and match the ingredients of the fruit tea in order to come up with our personalized blends.

It was really a great night meeting fellow tea-loving people and drinking great fruit and milk tea drinks. Right now, Coco Tea Philippines’s pilot store is at Eastwood City, but they are set to open their next branch at SM City Fairview very soon.
