Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. She was 39.

According to the New York Post, police sources confirmed that Michelle was found “unconscious and unresponsive.” While the cause of death remains unknown and no foul play is suspected, sources revealed that she underwent a liver transplant last year, which her body “may have rejected.”
She was a former child star who started her career in television commercials at the age of three before landing her acting debut on the Nickelodeon series “Thee Adventures of Pete & Pete.”
Then, she made her major film acting debut in the coming-of-age comedy “Harriet the Spy,” starring as the titular character.
Furthermore, she achieved international success with roles in television series such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” where she played Dawn Summers, and “Gossip Girl” as Georgina Sparks. In 2022, she reprised her role in the HBO revival of “Gossip Girl,” which became her final television appearance.
