In celebration of the Christmas season and Art in Island’s 2nd anniversary, Art in Island has prepared a series of Christmas events to be enjoyed with the whole family and friends. Art in Island brings you a Christmas-themed interactive 3D art exhibit, an art market full of handmade and local art products, and a museum wrapped in blue Christmas lights and display.
‘Art in Island – Christmas Exhibit’ is a Christmas-themed interactive art exhibit introducing a new set of 3D paintings and will be opened from November 5 to December 31, 2016 in the Art in Island exhibit room, which is located outside the museum. The size of the exhibit is 81 square meters and is composed of different Christmas-inspired photo zones. Admission fee is for only 10 pesos. Collected admission fees from the Christmas Exhibit and donations from the Art Market will be donated to charity.
The opening ceremony of the Christmas exhibit will be celebrated together with the opening of the museum Christmas Lights, featuring the 10-meter Christmas tree located in front of the museum on November 5, 2016 at 7PM.
On the same day starts the Art Market – Christmas Edition. One of the event trademarks Art in Island has opened, Art Market, is a weekend event where local artists and artists-at-heart can showcase their talents and passion by their handcrafted and painted masterpieces. Art in Island would like to make Art Market a stage for the young artists and make a place entirely dedicated to art culture.
