Meet Monte, the rescue dog from Arizona who will be playing Tramp in Disney’s live-action remake of ‘Lady and the Tramp’.
This 2-year-old terrier mix looks exactly the way I remember Tramp looking in the cartoon, and he is absolutely adorable! Monte was sent to Phoenix’s HALO Animal Rescue in April 2018, where the staff commended him for his good behavior and wet kisses. He was then scouted and adopted by Hollywood animal trainers. You will also be happy to hear that the whole cast of rescue dogs found ‘furever’ homes after filming, as well.
In the live-action movie, Tramp will be voiced by Justin Theroux, while Lady will be voiced by Tessa Thompson.
The movie will be premiering on Disney+ once it launches in the US on November 12.
