Vico Sotto is one of the new breed of leaders the public has been keeping an eye on ever since he was elected as mayor of Pasig. In true mayor-ly fashion, he suspended classes when Tropical Storm Falcon was swooping by the Philippines.
However, in true Filipino fashion as well, the citizens of the metro flooded the mayor’s replies with memes from the teleserye “Kadenang Ginto”. Lost and confused, the mayor asked the internet who Cassie is, since apparently a lot of people have been quoting the uber-popular “You do note” meme which has been making its rounds on the internet.

The “You do note” meme comes from a video of a girl who’s supposedly reenacting a scene from the famous teleserye Kadenang Ginto. In the video, the child says: “You do note! Mommy, huwag mo na siyang papasukin. Baka ano pang sabihin niya. Cassie, hindi ka muna papasok sa iskul. (Pero, tita!) No don’t, ‘wag mo na ‘kong pigilan, Cassie… sige Cassie, pasok ka na.”

Hopefully, Mayor Vico now knows who Cassie is and why hindi muna siya papasok sa iskul.
