Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal, one of the most sought-after love teams from the ’90s, are set to make viewers swoon in their upcoming film Ex Ex Lovers.

On December 18, Project 8 Projects dropped the official teaser trailer for the romantic-comedy film. The one-minute clip featured Joy (played by Jolina) and Ced (played by Marvin), who reunited in Malta despite not having the best relationship.
The added nostalgia brings back a lot of memories for fans! The teaser trailer also referenced their hit 1998 film Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?, in which Jolina said the iconic line: “Sure ka bang kaibigan mo lang ako? (Are you sure I’m just your friend?)”
Directed by JP Habac, the film is set to showcase the legendary love team’s natural chemistry through heartfelt moments and quick banter. The film will also star Juan Karlos Labajo and Loisa Andalio.
In October 2024, the film production company confirmed on Instagram that both actors would reunite in the romantic-comedy movie.

“HUYYY!!! ito na ang COMEBACK na hinihintay niyo (This is the comeback you’ve been waiting for),” it wrote. “After more than two decades, MARJO (Marvin-Jolina) is back on the big screen!”
Dubbed MarJo by fans, Marvin and Jolina starred in classic flicks such as Hey Babe! and Flames: The Movie. They also starred in the romance series Gimik and I Luv NY.
Ex, Ex Lovers will be available in cinemas next year.
