In an Instagram post, the actress described representing her film “Sunshine” at the prestigious event as “truly unforgettable.”

Maris even proudly showcased her stunning red carpet look at the prestigious event! She donned a pastel green backless gown featuring a neckline embellished with a silk sampaguita garland and a flowing, floor-length silhouette by Jot Losa.

In 2024, “Sunshine” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, the film follows the story of a young gymnast, portrayed by Maris, who attempts to terminate her pregnancy after discovering she is pregnant on the week of the national team tryouts.
The cast of “Sunshine” includes Elijah Canlas, Meryll Soriano, Xyriel Manabat, Annika Co, and Jennica Garcia.
