Almost everyone knows Roxette. Even if you don’t, you must be familiar with the band’s hit ballads ‘It Must Have Been Love’ and ‘Listen to Your Heart’. Many a times have I belted out those tunes since I was a kid up until I could finally understand what the songs were about.
Roxette’s lead singer, Marie Fredriksson, has died at 61 years old after a long battle with an illness. Her family announced the news saying, “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that one of our biggest and most beloved artists is gone.”
