First staged at UP Diliman 23 years ago, Manhid, the Pinoy Superhero Musical is about an alternate present-day Philippines where the EDSA People Power Revolution has failed. It features heroes and villains with superpowers and a people sick with “Kamanhiran” (Apathy). Many remember it since THE Eraserheads helped composed and performed the songs in Manhid (does “Kailan” ring a bell?).
In commemoration of the 29th Anniversary of EDSA Revolution, the EDSA People Power Commission is giving away 29 tickets for the special screening of “Manhid”on February 27, 2015 at 8 pm.
