With the COVID-19 virus affecting people’s jobs and income, many celebrities have started fundraising initiatives to help those financially struck by the pandemic. One of the many personalities that have taken part in this is actress, Maine Mendoza.

Last week, theย Eat Bulagaย host tweeted that she is hosting a DoNation drive for employees who are not allowed to work because of the community lockdown.

With this, Maine tweeted a couple of days ago that the drive has accumulated a total amount of โฑ587,677.92 within 7 days. This donation drive is able to help 587 families who are all affected by the quarantine. It includes families of tricycle drivers, pedicab drivers, maintenance crews, and more.
