“The fires have hit LA hard, and it’s tough seeing so much loss. I’ve been watching the sky and hearing helicopters flying back and forth… In times of devastation, like the one we’re witnessing, it’s hard to find the right words,” she wrote.

On January 7, a disastrous series of wildfires forced residents from Los Angeles to flee their homes. It is now regarded as one of the most destructive wildfires in US history, with 12,000 structures destroyed and at least 24 people killed.

Although her home has not been affected by the wildfires, the Batang Quiapo star remains empathetic and firm in her belief that people come together during the most difficult moments in life.

“Though the road ahead is tough, the community is coming together—helping, supporting, and showing up for one another. It’s a reminder that even in the hardest times, we’re never alone,” she added.

“Even in the darkest times, the city will rebuild and shine again, stronger than before,” she concluded her post.

Friends, fans, and followers have flooded the 35-year-old actress’s Instagram post with words of love and support.

Veteran actress-singer Pinky Amador wrote: “Hi Lovi. Was wondering how you’re doing. Glad to see you are safe. Keep strong. Sending love and light your way.”

“Big hug babe!!! I messaged you to check on you also. Take care Lovi. Love you!!” social media personality Cat Arambulo commented.

Previously, Filipino celebrities like Liza Soberano and Inigo Pascual updated followers regarding their situation. Liza confirmed that she is not currently in Los Angeles while Inigo shared that his family, including their pets, have evacuated and are safe.

However, many Hollywood celebrities have lost their homes or had to evacuate from the Los Angeles wildfires. This includes Paris Hilton, Jhene Aiko, Anna Faris, Mandy Moore, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, and Milo Ventimiglia, among others.
