Newbies, pros and baking enthusiasts are welcome!
When was the last time you’ve baked? Or waitโ why haven’t you’ve baked in a long time?
The answers are divided on this one. For some, there’s just so much mess to deal with in the aftermath. That, or they simply don’t have time. On the other hand, others may not have even baked in their lives at all. Maybe the attention to detail and the steps were just intimidating, the success rates were low, or they just didn’t know how and where to start.
Well, we’ve got something for both factions: a baking classย called Bakebe.

Bakebe (pronounced as bake-be) is a Hong Kong concept that teaches just about anyoneโ noob, enthusiast or even a proโ how to make picture-perfect creations.ย That’s Instagrammable cakes, cookies, pastries and more. A real treat for the eyes! But unlike most classes that feature an instructor and a group of students, Bakebe takes a more modern approach by using an app to teach customers how to bake!

This app was designed to be user-friendlyโ providing clear and comprehensive instructions, a step-by-step guide and even a video that anyone and everyone can follow. This one-on-one system lets you complete each step at your own pace, thereby minimizing the stress and pressure that normally comes with a classroom setting. You even have free reign over what you want to make! Best of all, the baking equipment, tools, and ingredients that you need will be provided (all you really need to do is show up), and you get to bring home your own creations.
And did we mention that Bakebe even promises a 95% success rating? Wow!

Established by Cantonese TV Host slash Food Blogger Venus Chi, Bakebe was designed for the millennial market. By combining modern and home practices, she hopes to revive the love for baking and the zest for homemade dishes to this young technology-driven market through Bakebe. And it worked! In Hong Kong, this baking studio became a hotspot for private parties, showings, and even parties and bridal showers, which eventually led to the brand expanding internationally.
Bakebe set its sights in the Philippinesโ to a market of homemakers, home cooks, and creative minds. Their very first branch is scheduled to open on March 20 in SM Aura Premier, where they have exciting deals in-store. For the first 100 to book at Bakebe, they’ll get P200 off! Just use the code BAKEBE SCHEDULEโ valid until March 19 only.
Regular rates start at P1,999 per cake or as low as P999 for a box of cookies. Make sure to include an additional P500 participation fee.
Whether this picturesque pink wonderland serves as a creative outlet for friends and family to get together and bake or a way to unwind and destress, Bakebe sets the scene for an experience unlike any other.
