Cagbalete is a tiny island at Mauban, Quezon that is rising in popularity because of its clear blue waters and white sand. Not only that, but it’s quite accessible from Manila, too. No need for expensive flights! Just hop on a bus and then a boat ride, and you’re there! The best part? It’s dirt cheap. One of my friends is a frequent beach bum there, and she swears you can get by at Cagbalete for below 2,000 PHP. Roundtrip fares included.
