Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters is expecting her first child with Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte. The couple has been engaged since November 2019.
Rachel made the announcement on her Instagram account on May 18, sharing a stunning photo that shows her growing baby bump. Along with the photo, she wrote the caption, “18 weeks of growing and loving you. You’re a dream come true our little chickpea.”

Her fiance, Migz Villafuerte, also posted on his social media. The photo shows Migz’s hand on Rachel’s belly, along with a caption that says, “Who’s your daddy?” It was followed by a hashtag, #beyondblessed.

Rachel and Migz were set to tie the knot in 2020, but the ceremony was postponed due to the pandemic. The wedding was already set and finalized, until the lockdown was announced a month before. “Everything is up in the air at the moment,” she said in an interview with Metro Chats. Keeping it optimistic, she also shared, “We’re happy, we’re good, we’re safe, that’s what matters. And all our friends and family are safe, too.”
