After the senatorial elections, Vico Sotto Says He Doesn’t Have Time for Love and Would Rather Sleep. Last month, we learned that Vico Sotto’s Mom Wants You To Stop Calling Him “Bae” And “Babe”. Despite this, a daring netizen still had the guts to post her resume applying to be the mayor’s girlfriend.
Being Pasig City Mayor and having a well-known last name, he would certainly get plenty of attention. But many people have been focusing mainly on the 29-year-old’s appearance where some have even claimed that he is one of the most eligible bachelors.
When he was asked during an interview with 24 Oras about his relationship, Vico Sotto mentioned he does not have a girlfriend because he does not have time to have one. “Pag may free time ako, mas gusto ko pang matulog o magpahinga na lang,” he explains. [Rough translation: When I have free time, I’d rather sleep or rest.]
Regardless, Hettianne Gamel posted this viral resume with the caption: “Mayor Vico Sotto ready na po resume ko, kayo po ba ready na po ba kayong tanggapin ako.” [Rough translation: Mayor Vico Sotto, my resume is ready, are you ready to accept me.]

In the resume, Gamel stated her objectives as “sa pag-a-apply sa puso ni Mayor Vico ay ang ‘ingatan ka,’ ‘alagaan ka,’ ‘sa puso ko ikaw ang pag-asa,’ ‘sa ‘ting mundo, may gagabay sa ‘yo,’ at ‘alay ko’y itong pegmemehel ko.’
[Rough translation: In applying for the heart of Mayor Vico, ‘I will take care of you,’ ‘you are the hope in my heart,’ ‘in our world,’ ‘someone will guide you in our world’ and ‘I will give my love to you’]
For her qualifications as the Mayor’s first girlfriend, she mentions: “pagiging public servant (naka-public mga post ko sa FB), smart (charot Globe ako), may itsura (may mata, ilong, bibig naman ako. Pimples din.)”
[Rough translation: Being a public servant (my FB posts are public), smart (kidding, I use Globe), I have looks (I have eyes, a nose, a mouth. Also, pimples).]
Mayor Vico Sotto has not yet responded to the viral post which garnered 52k reactions, 1.6k comments, at 23k shares as of writing.
A month ago, Vico said that he is okay with being single because he wants to prioritize his responsibilities for Pasig City. He shares, “Diyos na bahala.” [Rough translation: I leave it up to God.] Who knows if this has changed?
