Attention, Potterheads! The “Harry Potter” book series is getting an all-new set of covers and they look amazing!
According to Pottermore Publishing, the digital publisher of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World franchise, the new covers are aimed towards keeping the design of the books up-to-date. The catch is that these covers are only coming to the ebook and audiobook versions of the novels, targeting new readers who have yet to check out the magical series.
The new covers are designed by Studio La Plage, a London-based creative team. Jack Bedford, Associate Creative Director at Studio La Plage, said about this project: “It was both a challenge and an honour to take the legacy of the Harry Potter covers and create a new visual approach fit for the digital age… Our new covers celebrate the moment before the action. They invite readers to experience moments of fantasy, emotion, bravery and friendship – ultimately asking the question: ‘What happens next?’”
Each cover brings iconic scenes from the books to life, some of which were never been before depicted on other covers in the past 25 years.
