I bet you’ve never seen a platypus hatching out of its egg! It’s freakishly adorable and looks like a num num or Pingu wriggling out of the egg. One difference with the egg of the platypus is that they have a lot less yolk and hatch at a lesser developed stage. They also need more TLC from their mothers at such a vulnerable stage in their lives.
