It’s no secret that we Filipinos like to look at food as much as we like to eat them. So we set out to capture on camera a timeless classic – chocolate. Watch the episode below and thank us later!

This sultry, mouth-watering, and oozing lava cake was lovingly crafted by Micaela and Mariel Lim of Little Black Box and we were there to make sure their chocolate creations looked as great on camera as it does in person. We were ecstatic when we were invited to shoot in their very spacious and well-stocked kitchen because it’s not everyday that we get to photograph food.
And the fact that we would probably get to eat whatever was made was a big win!
Micro businesses have been thriving here in our country for years – especially the ones whose products are food. The sweet ladies of Little Black Box have been enticing and satisfying their regulars with their chocolate creations for over a year now. Their specialties are cakes and cupcakes, but they do other pastries, as well.
