Feeling pressured and stressed out right now? Worry not, here’s a track that could help you relax, and it’s guaranteed by scientists.
According to reports, an eight-minute track titled “Weightless” by British band Marconi Union has been declared by scientists as the most relaxing song ever recorded and can help slow heart rate, reduce blood pressure and lower levels of stress.
“The results showed that the song Weightless was 11 per cent more relaxing than any other song and even caused drowsiness among women in the lab. It induced a 65 per cent reduction in overall anxiety and brought them to a level 35 per cent lower than their usual resting rates.” Says reports.
The study was conducted on 40 women, who were connected to sensors, to test their heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and brain activity while different songs were played.
Want to try it out for yourself? Listen to the track below:
What’s your take on it? Did it work for you?
Nope. It’s stressing my ears out. I prefer to hear Sitti or even the piano music of Mitsumeru Saki Ni wa by Shunichi Miyamoto.
I’m pretty sure this is just music, not a song.
Nope, doesn’t work for me. I’ll have Enya’s “Fairytale” over this instead 🙂
Is it just me or I already heard this song in minecraft?
