The office of beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Mae Bautista released a statement addressing her alleged romantic involvement with Ricci Rivero, following his split with Andrea Brillantes.
“We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality,” the statement read.
Leren was accused of being a third party after Ricci reposted a photo of himself taken by the councilor in a now-deleted Instagram story. Prior to that, the two were seen in an outreach activity last May 25, which escalated the cheating allegations.

The office of the councilor stressed that Leren “has dedicated herself to serving the community of Los Baños with utmost sincerity and integrity. Her commitment to public service has been shaped by the support and trust of the people she represents.”
The statement also clarified that the recent outreach activity the councilor participated in with Ricci Rivero is not an indication of a romantic relationship between them, as it is just a part of Leren’s ongoing efforts to serve the people.

“The video that went viral, depicting Ricci’s belated celebration with his friends, whom numerous other invited individuals joined, was taken down due to concerns about potential misinterpretation by viewers,” it added.
“We encourage everyone to refrain from creating malicious and insinuating comments on social media. Likewise, we call on everyone to understand the importance of fact-checking information shared across various internet platforms.”
Ricci recently confirmed his breakup with Andrea on Twitter, and he also appealed to the public not to drag other people into “false accusations.”
