Lea Salonga is joining the A-list celebrities at Madame Tussauds! On June 5, Madame Tussauds Singapore announced that the singer and theater icon is getting her own wax figure.
“Shining, Shimmering, Splendid! The legendary Lea Salonga will have her very own wax figure in #MadameTussuadsSG! Are you as excited as we are?” the post read.
Madame Tussauds Singapore even gave a glimpse of the process of creating the figure! In the video, Lea also expressed excitement and honor at being immortalized as a wax figure.

“When my manager said this is happening, Madame Tussauds was interested in turning me into a wax figure, I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ It was an absolute honor and privilege to be asked. It’s fantastic,” she beamed.
“I am super delighted to be joining Madame Tussauds with my wax figure. Are you ready?”
Lea is known for starring in prominent musicals, including “Miss Saigon,” “Les Misérables,” “Flower Drum Song,” “Once on This Island,” and “Here Lies Love.”
Other Filipino celebrities and public personalities with Madame Tussauds wax figures were Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, and Manny Pacquiao. Meanwhile, Anne Curtis will soon get her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
