Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo‘s Lee Sung-kyung isn’t only known for her stunning acting prowess; she also has a singing talent worth boasting about!
Instagram account @k.dramas_ shared a clip of the popular Korean actress’s rendition of Jasmine’s part in “A Whole New World” which earned the attention of Lea Salonga, who is known to have provided the singing voice of the Disney Princess.
“This is so adorable!!!!!!!!” Salonga gushed over the cover, tagging Lee’s Instagram account in the caption.
Even KC Concepcion and Jed Madela left comments on her post to say how impressed they were!
Lee Sung-kyung has acted in television dramas Cheese in the Trap (2016) and The Doctors (2016) before taking her first leading role as the titular character in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2016). Her latest film is crime comedy Girl Cops released this year, while her most recent TV series is 2018 fantasy romcom About Time which she has performed songs for.
