American popstar, Lauv, held his very first arena concert at the Araneta Coliseum last May 20. It was indeed a milestone for his career as he mentioned that it was the biggest venue he had ever played solo. Lauv, you don’t know how honored we, Filipinos, are!
With that proud moment, he celebrated it by shooting the music video for his newest song, titled “Sad Forever” right then and there! He even revealed that he just finished writing it just hours prior to the concert.
His new song is quite personal as it tells his mental health issues. If you will see in the music video, Lauv, surrounded by hundreds of Filipino fans, sits in the middle of Araneta then eventually interacted with the crowd. Kinda alludes to the song, right?

You know what else to LAUV? (Get it? LOL) All proceeds from the song will be donated to different mental health organizations working to remove the stigma around mental illness.
