It was a tough fight last night but Laura Lehmann emerged victorious as Miss World Philippines 2017. She will be joining the Miss World 2017 pageant, which will be held in Sanya, China this November.
Besides being crowned Miss World Philippines, Lehmann was also crowned Miss Cosmo Skin, Miss BYS Philippines, and the Multimedia Fast Track winner.
Joining Lehmann in the winners’ circle are Winwyn Marquez (Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas), Cynthia Tomalla (Miss Eco Philippines), Sophia Senoron (Miss Multinational), Glyssa Perez (1st Princess), and Zara Carbonell (2nd Princess).
Lehmann previously joined the Binibining Pilipinas in 2014, where she was first runner up.
She got her break as a courtside reporter for the Ateneo de Manila University at the 77th and 78th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This was followed by a stint on TV, where she appeared as a host and courtside reporter for Upfront at the UAAP and the Premier Volleyball League for ABS-CBN Sports.
