Kristel Fulgar won her first-ever award in South Korea! The actress and content creator received the Influencer of the Month award at the 2023 Global Influencer Award.
She happily shared the news through Instagram and posted snaps and clips from the ceremony, where she received the award and delivered a speech.
“My first Daesang Award in Korea,” she captioned. Daesang means the highest honor in the Korean awards shows, also known as the grand prize.

Fulgar, who has over two million subscribers on YouTube, obtained the award for her KrisTells Vlogs on the said platform, which has been recognized as the “most innovative and influential creator.” As a K-pop and Korean culture enthusiast, her vlog features her daily life, travels, and knowledge of Korean culture.
She also expressed her gratitude and emphasized that she was honored to receive the prestigious award.

In 2022, the 28-year-old went to South Korea for six months to study and immerse herself in the country’s culture. She even signed a contract with South Korean entertainment label Five Stones Entertainment.
