Between taking care of her kids and work or home chores, where does a mom find the time to pamper herself? Fortunately, the newly opened Nailandia in Rockwell Sheridan, which opened its doors to the public last July, might have the answer.

This kid-friendly nail spa has a small play area with doll houses and toys, as well a couple of loaner Nintendo DS units, to keep the kids amused while mommy gets a facial or gets her nails done. Nailandia Sheridan boasts of being one of the few nail salons in the Metro with options to keep kids entertained while mommy gets some well-deserved me time.
A perfect place for moms to de-stress!
It’s not quite equivalent to a day care, but co-owner COO Katherine Liénard put a lot of thought into how to keep kids entertained. A mom herself, Liegl is very familiar with how restless kids can be. On some days, her five-year old daughter Lucy helps around the salon, handing guests complimentary candy (another trick to keep them occupied) and DS cartridges. The salon is whimsical and well-lit, with comfortable chairs and big, fluffy pillows. Truly the perfect destination for an afternoon of pampering.
A colorful play area for kids
The best option might even be a spa date with parent and child. Nailandia also has kiddie offerings under their Fairy’s Innocence packages, ranging from 30-minute kiddie massages (P400) to spa mani-pedis (P480-600) or a combination of all three.
Moms can choose to have basic mani-pedis (P250-300) or choose from several indulgent packages such as the Classic Whimsical Treat (P1000) which consists of an hour-long Swedish or Shiatsu body massage coupled with mani-pedi; or the Total Fantasy Luxury (P3,150) which has everything from hand and foot spas, mani-pedis, paraffin dips and stress-relieving massage.
Private rooms for massages, facials, and other services
Dads won’t feel left out, either, as Nailandia offers similar services for men. Their gentlemen menu includes the Gent’s Muscular Relief Hand Spa (P500) and Gent’s Intensive Callous Treatment Foot Spa (P550). For the ultimate indulgence, guys can go for the King’s Delight (P2,100) which has both services in addition to mani-pedi and a whole body massage.
Nailandia has great options for the whole family with a wide range of services from threading to waxing, and even eyelash extensions. They also offer nail art options like caviar or ombré (P50 per nail). There are also two private rooms where clients can get waxed or get full-body massages.
A wide selection of colors from well-known brands
Nailandia offers some well-known brands of nail polish and a good selection of colors. Special mention goes out to Ate Loida, who gave one of the best and most thorough nail cleaning experiences I have had.
Children who avail of the kiddie nail spa options will surely enjoy the experience, playing on Nintendo DS as their feet soak in stylish wooden buckets.
Spa dates are a good family bonding activity for the whole family, and Nailandia Sheridan fits the bill. You can call for sparty packages, which they also offer, if you’d like to have the venue all to yourself and a few companions for a few hours of pampering. Did we mention there’s also free WiFi?

Located on the second floor of the new and bustling Rockwell Sheridan, the salon is surrounded by plenty of food options with restaurants on the ground floor and a food court on the same level. There’s also ample indoor parking space on the upper floors with a generous 10-hour rate of P50 before it starts charging per additional hour.
