Judy Ann Santos has achieved another career milestone as she brought home an award at the prestigious Fantasporto Film Festival.

Judy Ann made the Philippines proud by winning the “Best Actress” award for the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Espantaho at the annual Portuguese film festival.

“It is with great pride and honor that I’m here to represent my country,” she said in her acceptance speech.
“To my husband and to my three children, they’ve always been my inspiration in every project I make,” she added. “I’m just so happy I will be bringing home the best souvenir.”
The renowned actress also shared more photos from the film festival, where she was holding and accepting her award.

“Happy to be here,” she wrote.
In December 2024, the 46-year-old actress won the “Best Actress” award at the MMFF’s Gabi ng Parangal.
She is the fourth Filipino to bring home an award from Fantasporto. Barbie Forteza was the first actress to win at the prestigious awards ceremony for her performance in the 2016 film Laut, followed by Ian Veneracion and Cristine Reyes.
Judy Ann Santos is a multi-award-winning actress who is best known in acting projects such as Mara Clara, Esperanza, and Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo among others.
Apart from acting, she also enjoys sharing cooking vlogs on YouTube. In January 2025, she achieved new milestones in her culinary journey: graduating from culinary school and meeting the legendary Gordon Ramsay at an exclusive event in Manila.
