A couple of weeks since Joshua Garcia finally opened up about his rumored relationship with French-Filipino athlete Emilienne Vigier, she took to Instagram to greet the actor on his 26th birthday on October 7, sharing plenty of sweet pictures of them together.
She didn’t add anything to her post, which she shared on Instagram story, other than emojis of hands forming a heart, a birthday cake, and a smiley.
It was during a press conference for his upcoming romantic comedy film “Fruitcake” when Joshua opened up about what’s really going on between him and his rumored beau to members of the press, clarifying that he isn’t denying the relationship.
“About that, okay, para ma-klaro na lahat and wala na ring maitanong ang lahat, baka sabihin kasi nila, dine-deny ko ‘yung babae, ‘diba,” he said. “Hindi ko siya dine-deny. It’s just that ako and her decided not to share it to everyone kasi ‘yung relationship na ‘yan, eh kami lang naman ‘yung parte du’n.”
“Galing na kasi ako sa iba’t ibang klase ng relationships and everytime na sine-share ko siya sa lahat, parang nagkakagulo, nagiging shaky ‘yung relationship eh,” he added. “Hangga’t maaari kasi, sa panahon ngayon, mas okay kung private na ka rin na tao.”

Joshua Garcia’s last known relationship was with his former love team partner Julia Barretto. He also was briefly rumored to have dated content creator Bella Racelis.
Joshua and Emilienne were first linked a few months back when their personal Instagram Story posts suggested that they were at the same place at the same time. They were later spotted a few times together outdoors. In the first week of September, Emilienne shared a selfie with Joshua on her Instagram story and wrote “Jtmmmm” which many netizens speculated meant “je t’aime,” which translates to “I love you” in French. The following week, the Instagram pictures on their individual feeds suggested that they had taken a trip to Italy together.
