Johnnie Walker hosted one of the most epic parties of the season last July 23!
Guests indulged in the night “The Journey with Johnnie Walker” at Valkyrie, which featured multi-sensorial elements showcasing select variants of Johnnie Walker. Recognizing life and its many twists and turns, the Johnnie Walker event invited guests to embark on a flavorful journey as they navigated through the clubbing mecca’s twists and turns to learn more about Johnnie Walker Red, Black, and Gold Label Reserve.
Guests were given tap cards on arrival, which they used at the four pitstops that took them on a journey with the iconic Scotch whisky brand. A unique experience awaited guests in each of the rooms.
In the Red Label Room, Diageo Reserve World Class 2013 Philippine Bartender of the Year AK Roxas offered guests a taste of JOHNNIE WALKER® RED LABEL™, the Pioneer Blend, with clear soda, cola, and ginger ale.
Guests who stopped by the Black Label Room took pictures with a live Striding Man, and enjoyed the smoke and wood elements unique to the Iconic Blend, JOHNNIE WALKER® BLACK LABEL™, as served by Diageo Reserve World Class 2014 Philippine Bartender of the Year Joma Rivera. To everyone’s delight, Anton del Rosario took over Striding Man duties for a while.
Meanwhile, in the Gold Label Reserve Room, Erwan Heussaff and Diageo Reserve World Class 2015 Philippine Bartender of the Year Kenneth Bandivas held a whisky mentoring session and served craft cocktails.
On the main floor, guests witnessed one-of-a-kind performances by LED, modern jazz, and aerial dancers. Diageo Philippines General Manager, Jon Good, told the enthusiastic crowd to expect even more from Johnnie Walker, all across the country, in the coming months. Hosts Aaron Atayde and Nicole Andersson then turned the floor over to Kat DJ, Mars Miranda, and Callum David, who took turns in unleashing beats from different areas in Valkyrie, creating a moving party experience like no other, while Johnnie Walker Red Label, Black Label, and Gold Label Reserve each had rooms that treated guests to different surprises throughout the night.
It was a night that left everyone excited about what’s to come for Johnnie Walker fans in the Philippines. Let’s Keep Walking in the meantime.
