Actor and TV host Jhong Hilario graduated from college as magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science from Arellano University at the age of 46.
In an interview with TV Patrol, Jhong said that he’s dedicating his award to his parents. The actor said, “Kahit na late na and at the age of 46 at least buhay pa ‘yung parents ko [to witness his success].” (Even though it’s already late and at the age of 46, what matters is my parents are still here to witness my success.)

“Sa lahat ng gustong makatapos ng pag-aaral kahit late na, katulad ko, mayroon talagang pagkakataon, mayroong talagang paraan para gawin ito kahit na sobrang busy tayo. Time management lang (To everyone who wants to finish their studies even if their old, like me, there are really chances and ways to do it despite our busy schedule. Time management it is.),” the It’s Showtime host added.
He also proudly shared a photo of him wearing a toga on Instagram, stating his full name, course, university, and distinction in the caption.
