Jericho Rosales will return to screens with the international series Sellblock.
He will be joined by Tirso Cruz III, Cherry Pie Picache, Ronnie Lazaro, Rosanna Roces, Mon Confiado, and RK Bagatsing.
There’s no word what the plot of the show is, but reports say that it is a “scripted TV prison series.”
The show is produced by ABS-CBN and Philippine-based BlackOps Studios Asia. Sellblock is part of a list of 16 projects headed by BlackOps with its creative partner Psyops8, also from the Philippines, and their co-production partners Story Arch Pictures from the US, and Agog Film from Hong Kong.
Ruel S. Bayani, head of ABS-CBN international production and co-production, told Variety, “ABS-CBN is excited to announce that Sellblock will be headlined by our very own Jericho Rosales. In his nearly three decade-long career Jericho has earned the title of ‘Asian drama king’ and is one of our network’s finest homegrown talents and country’s top leading men.”
He added, “We are thrilled for this opportunity to showcase Filipino talent on the global stage.”

Just last month, Rosales shared a glimpse of his new home in New York City with his wife, Kim Jones. On Instagram, he wrote, “‘Yung Nasa May Bintana Sila Ni Kim.'”
He added, “Sa Bagong Haybol Sa Big Apol. Kim on Google Maps : saan ang palengke…? Me sa bintana : ano’ng oras dadaan ang taho?“

Earlier this month, Rosales also shared that he is taking acting classes in the city. He called it “one of my happy places” and that “Acting should be taught in schools.”
There is no release date yet for Sellblock.
