Singer-actor Jeric Gonzalez wrote a sweet appreciation post on Instagram for his girlfriend, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, for giving him flowers.

He uploaded a video of Rabiya surprising him with flowers and welcoming him with a banner as he arrived at the airport.
“You never fail to surprise and amaze me @rabiyamateo (kahit na hindi ganun kalayo ang pinuntahan ko para mag-work at hindi ganun katagal, I felt your love and effort to surprise me),” the singer-actor captioned.
In 2022, the two confirmed their relationship by posting sweet photos of them together in Bohol on their personal Instagram accounts.
“So thank you for being the best partner and person I could ever ask for. I love you to the moon and back,” Jeric added.

Rabiya replied to the post, “I read somewhere men would receive flowers for the first time during their funeral. Kaya babaguhin natin yun.”
