Athens is currently bustling with tourists, including two famous faces from the world of romantic TV entertainment: James Reid and Nadine Lustre, better known as Jadine, are currently filming in the Greek capital and we have some pictures of their shoot hot off the press right here:
The famous couple seemed to enjoy their time in Athens, filming various scenes near the center of town, while a sizeable entourage of production staff ensured everything went smoothly.
One scene required the cast to cycle along the narrow streets near Monastiraki, a task that was increased in its difficulty by the large number of tourists frequenting the Greek capital at this time of the year.
Despite the summer heat and hordes of tourists, everyone seemed to be in good spirits and filming appeared to progress smoothly. The safety minded reader will of course notice the lack of protective head gear in this shot, something that’s not uncommon in Greece.
While the exact plot of their latest TV series remained a closely guarded secret, James seemed to play the role of a tour guide during some of the shots, giving you a hint of what’s to come once the production airs on TV.
23-year old James and 22-year old Nadine are said to be in town until Sunday the 14th, with shooting currently taking place at locations near the center of Athens, such as the Church of Panaghia Kapnikarea in the back of the below shot:
Other filming locations included the narrow streets around Monastiraki square, a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
Whatever the plot of the famous couple’s Athens episode may be, we are almost certain it will be a big hit with viewers again!
