Actress Iza Calzado is now negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and ready to go home!
This good news was shared by her talent manager, Noel Ferrer, on Facebook.
“Dear Family and Friends, It’s an amazing start of the week as we were just told that Iza can go home tomorrow after completing her IV antibiotics! Moreover, the good news is – Iza’s retest results came back and she is now negative for CoVid,” he revealed.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who sent their well-wishes and support to Iza after she was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and tested positive for the virus last week.
“We would like to thank each and [every one] of you for your prayers, love and support especially the doctors, nurses and all the health workers who continuously risk their lives to serve us all at this time,” he said. “Let us continue to pray as Iza continues to heal and support others who are battling with the virus.”

As of writing, there are 1,546 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines, including 78 deaths and 42 recoveries.
