Singer-actress Issa Pressman explained the reason why she has been inactive online and offline lately. She revealed through a video posted on Instagram that she underwent surgery to remove a “couple of cysts” from her vocal cord.
“Ola, guys. I’m just posting this video to let everyone that if, in case, you see me sitting in the corner, not being sociable or just being quiet and not talking at all, that’s just because I am healing from an operation,” she said.
Issa explained that she grew cysts on her vocal cord and clarified that they had been removed by the time she uploaded the video. With that, she emphasized that she needs to rest her voice for three months to fully recover.

She continued, “I’m already not allowed to talk for two weeks and I’m gonna be on vocal rest and vocal rehab for three months, that means no crazy talking and no singing also.”

The “Camp Sawi” actress remained optimistic about her healing process and assured her fans that she will be okay.
“There’s a lot for the healing process but then it’s gonna be fun and I’m gonna be okay. I’m just letting you guys know just in case you think I’m sungit or antisocial or whatever, this is my reason,” she concluded.

In the caption, she mentioned that she only had a tiny incision during the operation. She also shared that she’s anxious about the uncertainty of how much her voice will change, and assured her fans again that she’s sleeping and eating well as she continues to recuperate.

Issa appeared in films Camp Sawi, Talk Back and You’re Dead, and Para sa Hopeless Romantic. She is also a recording artist under Careless Music, an independent record label managed by James Reid, whom she was rumored in a relationship with.
