Ryan Reynolds, who plays the titular role in the Disney-acquired franchise, first announced that the sequel had been in the works back in December 2019. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates, with the excitement reaching new heights when Hugh Jackman revealed in September 2022 that he would also be making a triumphant return as Wolverine in “Deadpool 3”.
This will be the first movie to introduce Marvel characters that were previously produced by 20th Century Fox. With Garner picking up the Marvel assassin’s sai once again, we can’t help but wonder how their crossover in the MCU multiverse will unfold!
Jennifer Garner initially portrayed the role of Elektra in the 2003 film “Daredevil,” which was followed by her own spin-off film, “Elektra” in 2005. Alongside her notable comic book film appearances, Garner gained recognition for her iconic role in the 2004 film “13 Going on 30” where she shared the screen with MCU hero Mark Ruffalo as her leading man.
They later reunited in “The Adam Project” in 2022 with Ryan Reynolds portraying the role of the adult version of their son. This Netflix sci-fi film was under the direction of Shawn Levy, who is also directing the upcoming “Deadpool” sequel. All that being said, don’t you think The Hulk should make an appearance in “Deadpool 3”, too?
