Sunshine Cruz and Atong Ang sparked dating rumors after a video of them sharing a kiss went viral.

A few days later, the businessman addressed the speculation and clarified their relationship status. In an episode of Bilyonaryo News Channel on December 17, Pinky Webb revealed that Ang confirmed he is in a relationship with the actress.
“At dito niyo lang po unang maririnig, kinumpirma mismo ni Atong Ang sa Bilyonaryo News Channel na may relasyon nga sila ni Sunshine Cruz (And this is where you’ll hear it the first time, Atong Ang himself confirmed it to Bilyonaryo News Channel that he and Sunshine Cruz are in a relationship),” she said.
The show’s co-host, Korina Sanchez, playfully teased the two while expressing her happiness for them.
“We’re happy for them. We’re happy for people who are happy,” she quipped. “Ipagkalat nila ang kanilang kasiyahan (They should spread their joy).”
On December 14, Ang and Cruz were seen kissing at a cockpit arena. As of writing, they have not made any personal statements regarding their relationship.
Cruz was previously married to Cesar Montano, with whom she shares three children. Their marriage was annulled in 2018. She later entered a relationship with politician Macky Mathay, but they parted ways in 2022.
Ang, on the other hand, was linked to Gretchen Barretto. In 2019, both parties denied the rumors, with Barretto clarifying that they were merely business partners and Ang affirming his happiness with his wife and family. It remains unclear whether he is now legally separated from his wife.
