“Mission: Impossible” fans have been talking about the rumors that Glen Powell will replace Tom Cruise in the future installments of the franchise. Finally, the “Anyone But You” actor set the record straight!
In an episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Powell humorously dismissed the rumors, emphasizing that his mother would never allow him to take on the role of agent Ethan Hunt in “Mission: Impossible.”
“My mom would never let me do that,” he said in a call with Pat McAfee. Powell also pointed out the incredible stunts Cruise is known for, calling it the “worst gig in town.”
“That a death trap,” he quipped, bursting into laughter.
