Taylor Swift is at it again, lending a helping hand to her fans.
Recently, Swift made a sizable donation to her young fan who is battling leukemia after knowing that her fan would be missing her concert.
Naomi Oakes, 11, is battling acute myelegenous leukaemia. She is currently being treated in a hospital in Arizona.
Oakes was told that she could not leave the hospital for at least six months, which means that she would be missing Swift’s concert in August. She proceeded on making a YouTube video in hopes of getting Swift’s attention. She made “Bad Blood” her fight song against leukemia.
Then, Swift made a $50,000 donation on Oakes GoFundMe page along with a message, “To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
In the past, Swift is known for surprising her fans. Last Christmas, she sent gifts to her fans where she even delivered one personally. She also played a fan’s secret Santa and sent $1,989 to cover student loans.
