Toni Gonzaga just dropped a sneak peek of her upcoming film, “The Teacher”. On Instagram, the actress who recently signed a contract with Senator Manny Villar’s Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) Channel 2 wrote, “My Teacher…” with the hashtag “MMFF 2022”.
“The Teacher” is an official entry to the 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) by TEN17P. Directed by Paul Soriano, it stars Toni Gonzaga-Soriano, Joey De Leon, Ronnie Alonte, Loisa Andalio, and Kakai Bautista, to name a few. The MMFF 2022 entry’s cast was also seen in the photos.

Fellow TV host Mariel Rodriguez Padilla commented with enthusiasm that she had goosebumps, “no exaggerations”. She also praised Toni for her hard work in another comment saying, “Ang galing mo naka shoot ka pa ng movie hehehehehhee.” To which Toni replied, “nailaban hehe” with praying emojis.
So far, other MMFF submissions are “Labyu With An Accent” by ABS-CBN Film Productions starring Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, directed by Rodel Nacianceno; “Nanahimik Ang Gabi” by Rein Entertainment Productions starring Ian Veneracion, Mon Confiado, and Heaven Peralejo, directed by Shugo Praico; and “Partners In Crime” by ABS-CBN Film Productions starring Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
