Filipino Miss Universe queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray have both considered 22-year-old actress Liza Soberano to be a worthy candidate to represent the Philippines in a beauty pageant. But what does Liza really think about joining?

“I honestly don’t see it in my career path,” Liza told an Inquirer reporter.
“It’s flattering, knowing that it came from them,” she added, referring to queens Pia and Catriona. “I don’t want to say I’m closing the doors to this possibility completely. It’s just that I’m very passionate about my acting and being a beauty queen takes time. I’d have to prepare physically. I’d have to perfect my walk. And since I’m no beauty queen, this requires a lot of training.
”
Liza’s onscreen and real-life partner, Enrique Gil, also shared his thoughts about the possibility.
“She doesn’t feel it inside her.
I also don’t think it’s for everyone. It really depends on her. She’s beautiful, so she will be considered a threat.”
