On August 11, it was reported that Miley Cyrus and her husband Liam Hemsworth have separated. While Miley has been busy vacationing and working at the studio, Liam has remained silent as the media buzzed over the news of their split… until now, that is.
On August 13, Liam broke his silence and posted his statement on Instagram. In the post, he says, “Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.”
Miley and Liam were wed in December 2018 and have been married for eight months. There have been no further details about a possible divorce.
