Heart Evangelista has mentioned this before, but she reiterated it to fans and followers on Twitter: “I Left My Heart In Sorsogon” may be her last ever teleserye in her showbiz career.
In a tweet over the weekend, the fashion icon admitted that doing the television series for GMA Network made her realize how much she missed acting but felt that she had done enough soap operas to last her lifetime.
“Acting will always be a first love but for soap operas maybe itโs time for me to graduate,” she said. “Iโll miss it very much.”
She further added that she’s looking forward to the “interesting” next chapter of her career, leaving fans excited over what it could be.

She first opened up on her retirement from teleserye acting last November while working on “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,” saying that she needed to focus on other “special moments” in her life.
โ[It] might be my last soap (never say never) but I had the best time ever,โ she tweeted at the time. โThat was my 101%!โ
Heartโs last teleserye prior to her acting break was โMy Korean Jagiyaโ directed by Mark A. Reyes for GMA Network which ran from 2017 to 2018.
