Happy Hour in Manila Just Got Happier at TGI Friday’s

When in Manila, the expression “Thank God it’s Friday!” no longer applies to just the first day of the weekend because now, with the launching of TGI Friday’s bar in High Street, Bonifacio Global City, every day is made a Friday with their new “Happy Hour Just Got Happier” promo that starts at 3pm and goes on all the way until dawn. Order as many mojitos as you can for only P305 and enjoy munching on their delicious fried calamari tentacles (50% off from 5 to 8pm daily!), while jumping in your seat from watching the “flairtending show,” a spectacular display of TGI Friday’s bartenders showing off their hip moves while concocting yummy signature cocktails. The show can definitely get hot, as even flames may often be involved!

The launch last April 20 was undeniably fun, as good friend and fellow WhenInManila writer, Erika Ochosa and I sipped on our Cuba Libres and Tequila Sunrises, while watching two of their incredibly talented bartenders perform and pull heart-stopping tricks to the awesome beats of the DJ’s music. During a quick intermission, one of their bartenders even grabbed the microphone and gave an amazing beat box sample. All I can say is that when it comes to entertaining, TGI Friday’s crew unquestionably knows which strings to pull.
